Oaks and Acorns - Gweithgareddau rhieni a phlant bach / oed meithrin

Beth rydym ni'n ei wneud

We run a free community group every Monday morning in our warm church building. We offer light snacks and lots of toys for little ones and babies. The first half of the session is free time and parents and other adults can chat whilst little ones play safely in the same room. There is a baby gate to stop children from escaping into the toilets or out of the front door unsupervised. In the middle of the session we run a more structured time where the children gather to hear a bible story and then we sing nursery rhymes using ‘tap tap box’ and each child gets a chance to have a go choosing the song. At the end, after tidy up time, we usually get out the parachute for a final time of play together before singing goodbye.

Pwy ydym ni'n eu cefnogi

Although our group has lots of engaging toys and activities for little ones and families, we open the doors to anyone who wants to meet others in the community, particularly those living in the area who may be a little older (hence the name ‘oaks and acorns’)
